Due to Russia's invasion of Ukraine, BURG-WÄCHTER is stopping all product deliveries to Russia with immediate effect. "We categorically reject any form of violence. Ukraine is a sovereign state that has been arbitrarily attacked by a neighbouring country. As a company, we have always stood for peaceful global cooperation based on Christian values such as charity, mercy and justice," explains the management of BURG-WÄCHTER.
The termination of business relations includes the complete product range of the security specialists from Wetter-Volmarstein. "The people in Ukraine are suffering in their homeland because of Russia's war of aggression. Many people have already died, hundreds of thousands have had to flee. We wish nothing more for the Ukrainians than for the war to end and for them to be able to live freely and safely in their country again," says the management of BURG-WÄCHTER.
At the same time, BURG-WÄCHTER would like to emphasise that the brutal actions of the Russian leadership must not lead to the stigmatisation of the Russian population. Through professional or private connections, many of us have established long-standing and solid relationships with people in Ukraine and Russia alike.
Until the business relations were stopped, BURG-WÄCHTER distributed its products via trading partners in Russia. We did not operate our own production facilities or specialist shops in Russia.
